It’s hard to remember that it was only last week when everywhere was covered in snow, particularly when today has been such a lovely day. Last Friday there was snow everywhere in the Reception yard and the children have become very familiar with snow this Winter, making lots of snowmen and finding ice to break or melt, so last week to do something different we tried to make an igloo. There was so much teamwork, everyone helping shovel the snow and compressing it into a cuboid shape. We only managed to build two layers but everyone was impressed with the results, one child saying, “this is the coolest igloo ever”. Have a look at the pictures yourself …
