Tulips have had a great day today visiting Live Tales and the Baltic Gallery.
Our creative writing workshop at Live Tales was brilliant! We worked together to create a story, thinking about setting, characters and plot. We then spent some time on our own finishing the story. We are now all published authors, with our work appearing in an illustrated book of our own – watch out for these coming home over the next couple of weeks.
We then headed over the Millennium Bridge to the Baltic Gallery. We ate lunch in sunny Baltic Square, before heading inside to complete a workshop all about bridges. We had the opportunity to go out onto the roof terrace, and to enjoy the views of the finest sights of Newcastle and Gateshead from the viewing box.
We fantastic day, and I was very proud of the behaviour and work that the children produced – as well as being proud of those who conquered their fear of heights in the Baltic!
