Following on from our trip to Butterfly World we thought it was time to release our class butterflies into their natural environment. Owls have watched them develop from when they arrived as caterpillars to then creating their cocoons and finally hatching into wonderful butterflies. We had 5 caterpillars but unfortunately only 4 developed fully into butterflies. We released them in our flower beds and watched them fly into the unknown.
