What a busy SATURDAY morning it has been at Windy Nook! With a lot of help from the friends of Windy Nook Nature Park and the school community we have worked hard to clear the school pond that has been a little unloved for the past few years. The whole area needed a good clearing as it was overgrown and unusable. Everyone mucked in to clear the weeds that had taken over the area, cut down the over grown trees and give the flower beds a much needed lick of paint. We can’t wait to use the area for some amazing learning opportunities.

A huge thank you to everyone who got out of bed so early to help out and we hope we have such a keen bunch of volunteers next time! Take a look at the progress so far.
