Today we visited Windy Nook Nature Park with Jane Stanton (from Cycling Generation) to observe and enjoy nature. We discovered a variety of plants and insects which Jane helped us to identify. These included; ferns, oak trees, bird feet trefoil, brambles, buttercups, cow parsley, heather, bees, ladybirds, rose hips and a cabbage white butterfly. We learned a lot and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring a beautiful meadow in the glorious sunshine.
