What a fantastic couple of days meeting the new Owls class. The children have been very excited to learn year 1 work and having a look around their new classroom. They have been learning through PSHE lessons about household products and how to be safe around them. They used a VENN diagram to sort the products into safe and not safe categories. We’ve read a text called Dr Dog and how the different characters haven’t been taking very good care of themselves and have taken poorly. It has been great fun meeting them all and working with them over the last few days. I’m looking forward to the year ahead working with them all.
