This week as part of our ‘Toy for Christmas’ topic UKS2 have been investigating structures and how they work. They now understand that basic shapes such as triangles are really important in construction. They also now know that seemingly weaker materials (paper, card and straws) can be made strong if they are used correctly. Here are a few photos of some hopefully up and coming engineers.
