Today we hosted our annual sports day for children in Reception all the way through to year 6. The children took part in 6 different activities as part of a carousel. They were: sprints, vortex howler throw, egg and spoon race, standing long jump, obstacle relay and either parachute games or the sack race.

All children tried their best to compete for points for their house in the scored events and also had a lot of fun in the non-scored events. The overall winning house was Emeralds. As well as a house winner, teachers selected individual class champions who they thought had shown a fantastic attitude. These will be presented in next week’s windy winners.
