This week, Year 3/4 visited the fantastic Segedunum Roman Fort and Museum in Wallsend. The children got to see parts of Hadrian’s Wall, learned about life in the Roman fort and even got the chance to become Celts!
The day was filled with a mix of great activities which also included walking around the ruins of the original fort and learning how the different areas would have been used. Each class also get to see a bird’s-eye view of the area from the viewing tower!
We’d like to thank parents and carers for supporting this trip, the adults who accompanied us on the visit and the staff at Segedunum for looking after us so well.
