We have had an excellent first two weeks in nursery. Our existing pupils have welcomed our new pupils warmly, demonstrating empathy and kindness which has helped towards creating a calm and happy environment. We have been getting to know each other by spending time in our Key Worker groups. Our new pupils have thoroughly enjoyed exploring all of our areas both indoors and outdoors. We started painting and drawing some self portraits this week which we linked to the artist Picasso by reading the story, Picasso’s Trousers. On Wednesday some of us proudly shared our News Books. We also made some playdough this week and had a fabulous outdoor Friday participating in some messy play.
