KS1 were very lucky to have a visit from Reverend Danie and ElaineĀ  on Wednesday this week. We learned about the symbolism of a Christingle and we all made our own.

We learned that the orange symbolises the world, the candle symbolises the light, the sticks with the fruit and sweets symbolise all of God’s creations and the red band symbolises the love and blood of Jesus Christ.

We all learned lots of songs with actions and had great fun. Then we all got to take our Christingles home to light with our adults!
