This half term, UKS2 children have been working on designing, making and evaluating cushions to meet a given design brief. We have learnt how to use overstitch, backstitch and blanket stitch, building on our sewing work from KS1 where we used running stitch to make a Christmas stocking. We have shown great resilience and perseverance as we mastered these tricky skills. Check out the photographs below that show us hard at work and our finished products.
