This week in Maths, our Reception children became enthusiastic Shape Explorers, investigating how shapes can move and fit together. They rotated shapes to see how they change, created imaginative pictures by composing shapes, and carefully decomposed them to understand their parts. Children also explored 2D shapes hidden within 3D objects, developing their observation skills. Through rich, hands-on learning, children explored, were motivated and thought creatively to solve problems.
