In Lower Key Stage 2, we welcomed Mr Peoples from EduPeopleVR for a phenomenal virtual-reality workshop, all about tropical rainforests! Wearing virtual-reality headsets, the children were able to explore all four layers of the rainforest, as well as encountering various tropical wildlife! We were also able to see the changes to our climate caused by the alarming deforestation happing in the Amazon.
Mr Peoples was hugely impressed by the children’s geographical and scientific knowledge. We were also very impressed by his company’s brilliant equipment – it felt just like we were in a real rainforest!
