Year 1 and Year 2 pupils have been exploring the theme of Technology Around Us in their Computing lessons. The children developed their understanding of everyday technology while building confidence in using computers independently. They practised important mouse skills, including clicking, dragging and selecting tools, as well as using the keyboard to enter and edit text.
Using their new skills, pupils created digital drawings and enhanced their work by adding text boxes. They showed great concentration as they learned how technology can be used to create and communicate ideas. It was wonderful to see the children’s confidence grow as they became more familiar with different computer tools and features. We look forward to seeing them continue to develop their computing skills throughout the year.
