Our Reception children have continued to make a fantastic start to school life and are settling into their new routines beautifully! We have been so impressed by their growing confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. This week, the children have enjoyed taking part in some brilliant phonics sessions, where they have begun to learn new sounds and develop early reading skills. In maths, we have been exploring comparisons, looking closely at concepts such as more, fewer, bigger and smaller through practical activities and play-based learning. Alongside this, children have been building friendships, sharing resources, and developing their independence during daily routines. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, resilience, and kindness shine through as they embrace new challenges and celebrate their achievements.
