What a fantastic start to the new school year! I have been so impressed with how brilliantly the Snowdrops have settled back into school and how much enthusiasm they have shown for their learning.
In English, we have begun reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The children have already been making predictions, exploring the mysterious Iron Man and developing their vocabulary as we dive into this exciting story.
In Maths, we have been getting to grips with place value, building our understanding of numbers and exploring the value of each digit.
Today, we had a fantastic afternoon completing our Science Challenge! The children worked together, shared ideas, solved problems and put their scientific thinking to the test. There was lots of teamwork, curiosity and plenty of smiles along the way!
It has been a brilliant first week, and I am incredibly proud of the Snowdrops. We can’t wait to see what we achieve together this year!
Well done, Snowdrops! 👏
