Our Year 5/6 boys’ and girls’ teams put in fantastic performances at Sportshall Athletics. Every child took part in both a track and a field event during the afternoon, giving their all across a range of events.
There were some brilliant results, with the teams achieving several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes in events including the standing long jump, 6-lap paarlauf and 2 + 2-lap relay, as well as many more track and field events.
The Windy Nook athletics team represented the school excellently throughout. They showed fantastic determination, never giving up, while also displaying great sportsmanship along the way.
Everyone should be very proud of themselves. Well done to all of our Year 5/6 athletes!
