A visit from Ken and Lynn (St. Albans Church)

This week, as part of our learning about worship and what it means to Christians, Upper Key Stage 2 welcomed Ken and Lynn, from St. Alban’s Church.

Our visitors shared artifacts that they use in worship, as well as fielding the thoughtful questions that were posed by children of each class.

We also discussed current, local and national issues such as: reducing the amount of single use plastic and food banks in Gateshead.

Once more, we would all like to thank Ken and Lynn for taking the time to come along to Windy Nook. It was a very informative talk.
