This half term we have spent a lot of time comparing Windy Nook to Ghana. For our art lesson we decided to look at some Kente material. We used magnifying glasses to take a closer look. The children could see how the material was woven, the bright colours and its repeating patterns. Once they had discussed what they could see the children then used crayons to repeat the pattern. Some beautiful work was completed.
