In Year 2, we’ve been busy diving into the story Goldilocks and Just One Bear—and what a fun twist it is on the traditional tale! The children absolutely loved spotting the differences and talking about what made this version so funny and unique.
After enjoying the story together, we became authors ourselves! The children worked hard to come up with their own versions of the tale, using their imaginations to create new characters, settings and ideas. We were so impressed with their creativity and effort—there were some fantastic twists!
To finish the week, we found a cosy spot and shared our stories with the younger children. It was such a lovely experience, and our Year 2s did a brilliant job reading aloud with confidence and expression.
