In the Oaks this week we were looking at practical applications of Science. As part of our science topic we have been exploring different materials and planning investigations to give us evidence of their properties.
This week we used multimedia to look at the role of play ground safety inspectors and how it is really important to select the best materials to build play equipment. It needs to be strong, durable safe and importantly fun!
We used the computers in the Web to research different options for building materials and designs and collected ideas that we liked to inspire our work.
Take a look at some of our amazing diagrams. I would love to visit one of these play grounds one day!
