The children in Y6 had a very eventful morning, learning skills to keep them safe whilst walking or cycling with the team from the Co-op.
They were very interested to explore one of the Co-op’s wagons, finding out where all the blind spots were and what the indicators meant. The children were even more delighted when they got the chance to climb in to the cabin and pretend to drive!
Back in the classroom, they took part in a workshop where they learned about the meanings of different road signs and markings. The morning finished with a goody bag to take home to remind the children of the day’s events.
We would love to thank the Co-op for a fantastic morning!
