This Friday, Year 6 descended on Saltwell Park to join thousands of other school children for the Gateshead Fun Run. The group put in a fantastic effort to get around the course. People encouraged each other and many got round very quickly! Absolutely everybody did their best and finished the run strongly. Special mention to one of our Year 6 children who finished 3rd overall.
Afterwards, we enjoyed some much-needed water – plus a long rest in the sunshine!
Thanks to all staff and parents who made the day possible.
