Today, KS1 have had a fantastic time taking part in some activities as part of their learning for Environment Week. We were lucky enough to have a visit from Willmott Dixon who led us all though a spaghetti tower building workshop. The children had an excellent time learning how to make their structures as tall and as stable as possible and then even got to eat the marshmallows afterwards! They then worked with Miss Clough who showed them how to create different shades of paint…using mud! They thoroughly enjoyed getting filthy and really appreciate how much fun you can have without having to spend a penny!

Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.

Article 27: You have the right to food, clothing, a safe place to live and to have your basic needs met. You should not be disadvantaged so that you can’t do many of the things other kids can do.
