Yesterday the Owls went to see Dippy the Diplodocus at the Great North Museum. They really enjoyed exploring all of the galleries and meeting Dippy himself. All of the children we really impressed by how huge he was and by the length of his tail!
The excitement continued after lunch when we took part in a fossils workshop and got to see some real fossils. A favourite was the sharkâs tooth! Kate, the leader then demonstrated how fossils were made. It was mind-blowing.
