On Wednesday, children and staff at Windy Nook gathered in the hall to celebrate those pupils who have achieved 100% attendance. Certificates were presented by Mrs Forrest and Mrs Ferry. These awards were not only for full attenders from this year; some children were commended for two, three, four and even five years of 100% attendance! A huge well done to all the children receiving their cerificates today!
There was also a presentation of the first ever Mrs Greaves Award for Citizenship. This award recognises a member of the school community who has been an outstanding citizen. This person looks out for others, helps those in need and shows selfless dedication to all they do. This year, the award was presented top Archie in Year 4. Well done, Archie!
