Hello. We are the Oaks. In our class we believe in working our hardest to reach our full potential and to thrive at school. We also have a lot of fun along the way too!

Important information:

  • Homework will be given out on a Friday and returned the following Thursday (Maths, Grammar and Reading Comprehension)
  • Spellings are expected to be practised regularly over the week.
  • P.E. is on a Thursday for the whole class  and also on a Friday for Year 5 Children– children are expected to have their kit to participate (P.E. kit will be taken home after use and not left on school premises).
  • Swimming is on a Friday morning for Y6 Children –  children are expected to have their kit to participate (Swimming kit will be taken home after use and not left on school premises).
  • If your child is having a school lunch please ensure that payment is brought in at the beginning of the week.

Football Friday!

As part of their Golden Time reward, some of the children in Upper Key Stage 2 enjoyed playing football on the top yard. Whether taking penalties, doing 'keepie-uppies,' or playing a match, everyone had a great time.

Remembrance Day

Next week, to mark Remembrance Day, the Year 6 children of Oaks and Beeches will study war poetry. We will explore the vocabulary and structures used, as well as the different ideas presented by each poet.

Girls Comfortably Through to Champion’s League Final!
