For the second year running, children from Windy Nook Primary School spread some cheer in their community, by carol singing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Over 30 members of the choir travelled up to the hospital, where they sang for some of the patients – who had gathered especially.
The Windy Nook choir were given rapturous applause after every song. They gave a fantastic account of themselves and the school.
We would like to say a big thanks to the parent helpers for walking us up to the church, as well as all at the hospital for being lovely hosts.
We hope we can do some more singing in the community very soon.
