This week, Mrs Hope’s morning class started working on Romeo and Juliet in our English lessons. After reading and unpicking Shakepeare’s language in Monday’s lesson, today we had the opportunity to put together a performance in groups of the prologue to the play.
We thought carefully about how we could organise our group to perform, as well as how to use our voices to convey the meaning of our words to the audience. We learnt our lines and produced some fantastic performances of the sonnet written to introduce the play. Look out for more photographs of us acting out and enjoying the work of Shakespeare!
