Four of our Year 5 children have recently completed some training at Gateshead Leisure Centre and are now ‘Mini Health Champions’. Part of their role is to teach and participate in playground games with Key Stage 1 during lunch times, mediate with friendship issues and recoginse as well as help children who are upset or look sad. They are doing an excellent job of boosting pupils’ health and well-being and we are very proud of them!
