In Oaks we have been using the program Scratch to build and de bug our own computer games. Mrs Broomhall has been really impressed by the level of imagination and technological knowledge that has gone in to the games.
Scratch is a visual block based programming platform designed for children but you still need to develop skills such as working with algorithms and dealing with variables to make your games work well, skills that children in Oaks have been fantastic at developing!
