On 13th March, Windy Nook’s choir travelled to Sage Gateshead, joining hundreds of children from other schools, to take part in the Spring Sing.
The children started by doing vocal warm ups, sound checking and rehearsing with the live band. After the eager audience had taken their seats, the choir were loud, proud and all together as they performed seven songs – including ‘Paddy On The Railway,’ and ‘Hold Back The River.’
The concert was superb and all who attended gave lovely feedback on the children’s singing.
