In Year 5, we have been reading Louis Sachar’s novel ‘Holes’. Camp Green Lake is the unpleasant prison camp where the hero of the story, Stanley, is sent to dig holes.
We imagined that Camp Green Lake was a holiday camp, and created brochures using persuasive language to sell holidays at Camp Green Lake to unsuspecting tourists! We used our publishing skills to create our leaflets and produced some fantastic work!
