We are learning about dinosaurs and after we found a dinosaur bone in our school grounds we wrote a newspaper report to tell everyone about it. Here are two of the reports that we wrote.
Nightingales visited The Great North Museum to find out about dinosaurs because that is our history topic this term. We went to see Dippy the dinosaur. Dippy is a diplodocus skeleton and it is colossal! We also made ‘Dippy’ hats and then had a dinosaur and fossil workshop . In the workshop we could handle real fossils (like dinosaur pooh) and even acted out how small creatures became fossilised.
