As part of their Romans topic, Snowdrops have looked at Boudicca’s rebellion and posed themselves the question: was this queen, a Celtic Briton, hero or villain?
We looked at primary and secondary sources, both written and pictorial. The children had to discuss whether each piece of evidence portrayed Boudicca as hero, villain, or somewhere in between. This made for an excellent debate – with lots of intelligent thoughts being shared.
