On Monday, the Windy Nook Choir sang songs for staff, patients and families at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We all enjoyed spreading some cheer in the local community. Patients even joined in and sang along.
The children’s performance was greatly received – we even got a letter of thanks from Reverend Robinson who works at the hospital. The way the choir conducted themselves in the hospital environment was exemplary and it was a pleasure to watch them sing.
Many thanks to all staff at the QE; they made us feel so welcome. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the parent helpers that accompanied us on our trip out.
