Over the last three weeks children in Snowdrops, Bluebells and Tulips have enjoyed designing and making their own Roman tile. During our topic lessons we learned about the different mosaic designs popular with the Romans and created a design for our own tile. Over the next two weeks we then molded our tile using clay and a variety of tools to add different design features. To finish our tiles we added paint this week, painting carefully to ensure a mosaic effect.
