Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
Article 30: You have the right to practice your own culture, language and religion – or any you choose. Minority and indigenous groups need special protection of this right.
Year 1 have been learning all about Ghana in West Africa. They have been locating it on a map and have been identifying the physical features of the country. Today the Robin’s explored some of the traditional clothing worn in Ghana. We compared it to clothing we wear here and the children came up with some excellent ideas. The children explained that the clothing was bright with lots of patterns.
