This week is Anti-Bullying Week. The children of Windy Nook have taken part in all sorts of activities to mark this year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme: CHANGE STARTS WITH US.
We have had an assembly about how saying kind words, caring for someone or including them in a game are all positive changes that each of us can make.
On Thursday, ‘One Day Creative’ visited school and delivered a fun, active and enlightening workshop, all about how we can avoid/change negative situations and create positive ones – all by being the change ourselves.
As well as that, the children of Windy Nook donned odd socks on Tuesday. Odd Socks Day celebrates what is different and unique about all of us. The socks were fab – just like all of us!
Thanks to One Day Creative, staff, parents and children – Anti-Bullying Week 2019 has been a great success.
