Linking with our topic of Winter, the children have been learning lots of interesting facts and information about Ghana and comparing it with Windy Nook. This week the children had a fantastic opportunity to actually have hands on experience of holding, feeling and discussing materials and dresses that were made in Ghana. The children looked at the patterns and compared them with their school uniform of Windy Nook. They soon realised how different our uniform is to the bright and colourful patterns and designs of the dresses and material from Ghana.
