In preparation for the school trip to the Shipley Art Gallery, we have been exploring different types of fabrics in Art. We discussed that some fabrics feel different to others. We shared ideas as a class about what we could see and feel from exploring some of the fabrics. The Robins chose their own categories, their ideas included: smooth, soft, hard, rough, patterned, sparkly and bumpy.
