Yesterday, a group of 18 year 5/6 children went to Gateshead Leisure Centre to take part in a High 5 netball tournament. Although the children had not played a lot of netball previously, they all picked up on the rules and positions very quickly and the coaches running the event were excellent in giving them advice. Both of our teams came a respectable 4th place and had an excellent time. They’re looking forward to the next netball event and playing it in school in the near future.
