Today, Julie, Joan and Gill from the NSPCC visited upper key stage 2 to deliver Speak Out workshops. The aim of this was to encourage the children to speak out about issues in theirs or others’ lives to trusted adults and to know that childline is always there to help. They looked at what behaviour was ok and accepted and how to recognise inappropriate interactions. A huge well done to the children who acted very sensibly when discussing serious issues and participated well in all activities. Thank you to the NSPCC once again for holding such an engaging and informative workshop.
