Up in UKS2 the children have been working towards creating their own fairground rides. As part of this, last week we investigate how we could create an electrical circuit.
Firstly we discussed the different components in a circuit and listed them. We then drew a circuit thinking about where each component would go in order for the circuit to be complete and work. Then we set about exploring how we could physically use the different components to create a circuit.
Once we had created a circuit we then looked at how we could vary certain aspects to change one part of the circuit. In particular we explored how we could get the bulb to shine brighter or dimmer and what components would effect this outcome.
