Yesterday Bluebells were very lucky to have a visitor from Warburtons come in to do a fantastic workshop with us based around our topic ‘Food Glorious Food’. A representative from Warburtons gave the children lots of useful information about healthy eating and what to include in a balanced diet. She also educated the children on food waste and how to reduce it.
The children then got into aprons and hair nets, looking very professional to make their sandwiches. There were a number of fillings and children were encouraged to try and get as many of their 5 a day into their sandwich. Lots of children tried new foods and made some really well- balanced sandwiches. Thank you Warburtons and well done Bluebells!
