As part of Upper Key Stage Two’s Fairground showcase, Windy Nook’s children were invited to enjoy pop corn at a French patisserie. Each vendor and customer exchanged French greetings, as the snacks flew off the shelves.
While Year 2 children said greeted the stallholders with a polite ‘bonjour,’ Years 3 and 4 were using phrases such as ‘s’il vous plait,’ ‘merci’ and ‘au revoir.’
