During our outdoor session today we used our imaginations to pretended that sticks were rockets! We chose a picture of either: Saturn V, Soyuz or Falcon 9 and then taped it onto our sticks and took them outside to launch into space! We used hoops to represent the planets in the Solar System and and chose which planet to land our rockets on. We had to blast our way through meteorite and asteroid storms along the way, just like Suzy Orbit and Captain Gizmo from our book of the week (Suzy Orbit Astronaut)!
