This week in Tulips the children have been learning about Haiku poems. They started the week recapping their knowledge of syllables and learning about the syllable structure of a Haiku poem. Then it was time to write their own. The children used our school grounds as inspiration for their Haiku poems. Once they were written, the children designed art work to become the background of their poem. Don’t they look amazing!
