Today, UKS2 had a visit from Jayne, our active travel officer, who delivered an excellent workshop about the structure and build of a bike. The children learnt about how the different parts of a bike are connected together and how it is made structurally strong and safe. They used this knowledge to design their own bike and then made it using art straws. Hopefully the weather improves so we can take part in our bike skills session soon!
